Medical Director & Founder, PHI Clinic
Dr Tapan Patel is the Founder and Medical Director of PHI Clinic, a Care Quality Commission (CQC)-registered medical aesthetics clinic on Harley Street, London. A UK-trained medical doctor with over two decades of clinical experience, he is widely regarded as one of the UK’s most accomplished cosmetic doctors.
Dr Patel holds an MBBS medical degree from the University of London (1996) and has been practising in aesthetic medicine since 2001. His clinical work focuses on injectable treatments, non-surgical facial rejuvenation, laser therapies, skin of colour aesthetics and aesthetic dermatology, with a consistent emphasis on patient safety, clinical appropriateness and individually planned treatment.
International teaching and Key Opinion Leader roles
Dr Patel is a Global Key Opinion Leader for Allergan Aesthetics , manufacturers of Botox® and the Juvederm® range , and was an inaugural member of the Allergan Medical Institute (AMI), the company’s global training body. He lectures internationally on injectable technique, facial assessment and aesthetic practice, and has presented at major medical congresses including IMCAS, AMWC, CCR London, ACE and iCAMPs.
As an Allergan Global Key Opinion Leader, Dr Patel leads PHI Clinic’s Botox London practice and trains other clinicians internationally in advanced injectable technique.
Through PHI College, Dr Patel’s accredited training academy, he delivers Botox and dermal filler masterclasses and “Getting Started in Aesthetics” programmes for medical professionals new to the specialty.

After previously founding VIVA Clinic in North London, Dr Patel established PHI Clinic in 2013. Under his leadership, the clinic has been recognised at The Aesthetics Awards over more than a decade:

His clinical philosophy emphasises subtle, considered results , refreshed rather than transformed , and conservative dosing in new patients, with treatment built up session by session over time.
